The 964-based RS America is a true, “bare essentials” drivers’ car. They have a direct connection to the famous (and very expensive) ‘73 Carrera 2.7 RS series 911. The option sheet on the RS America was short and sweet: Ltd Slip, Radio, Air conditioning, and a Sunroof were the only additions one could obtain. The idea being – of course – to preserve the pure driving experience of a vintage 911.
