Porsche 997 GT3 At Truspeed

It’s not often one can find a 997 GT3 that doesn’t scream at you with graphics, aftermarket add-ons, or evidence of someone’s over indulgence when checking all those option boxes on the order sheet. This car does not have carbon fiber interior bits, does not have color-keyed this or color-keyed that, does not have every single surface covered in leather, does not have a huge bazooka stereo in it, nor does it yell; “Hey! look at me!”. No, this is a rather nicely equipped GT3 that’s currently available at Truspeed Motorcars, in Costa Mesa, California.  What it DOES have is; The real no-kidding Sport Seats, the Sport Chrono package, Litronic headlights, Adjustable sway bars, and a sport exhaust.  This is the sort of GT3 that speaks loudly to us here at PML.  We like ‘em subtle and somewhat understated.  This is a hard core, street legal race car – that’s still practical enough for every day use.  That said, we would not want to be obligated to a daily freeway commute with it.  That’s what Honda Accords are for…

With only 5000 miles on it, it’s practically brand new, inside and out.

104911292011IMG_9667The fairly rare, hard-to-find Sports Seats lend an air of serious business to the interior.

104911292113IMG_9677The steering wheel is just the right thickness for comfortable, controlled driving – no need to change it.

10491129184IMG_9673The 996 and 997 GT3s can honestly be considered the spiritual successor to that incredible “Holy Grail” of early 911s: The Carrera RS 2.7 of 1973.  These are no-nonsense driver’s cars in the truest sense of the term. This pristine ‘07 example will not last long at Truspeed.  Give the Truspeed Team a call today. They would love to hear from you. Let them help you get into the car of your dreams.  They always have a fine selection of pre-owned Porsches.
