Jeff Zwart's 914-6 in "Rallye Trim" and kicking up some dust. Most Porsche race car enthusiasts are familiar with Jeff's successes at the Pike's Peak Hillclimb with Porsche 911 Turbos, but the 9,000 mile trek he took in his "original owner" 914-6 in 1997 was also quite an accomplishment. Jeff's sometimes comical, sometimes hair-raising account of his adventures
during the 1997 rally which took him from Panama City on May 30 to Anchorage,
Alaska on June 25. Clay Reggazzoni, former Ferrari FI driver with 135 starts
and 5 wins was among Jeff's competitors. "You'll have to race me," Reggazzoni
told Zwart. |
