Racing 914-4 2.0 Liter

This is a track car that could be returned to the street. It has a completely overhauled engine and short ration trans (A,F,M,S, X). The engine has a counterweighted crank, Rimco super rods, Melling oil pump, New custom pistons, Web Cam racing cam and lifters, ARP head studs, nuts and washers, hi performance valve springs, stainless big valve heads and competition porting. Near new 40mm Webers. New hi performance clutches. ERH 4 into 1 headers It also has a special windage tray and sump of proper oiling. Full flow oil cooling with front cooler and ducting. The car is a rust free California chassis. Most of the unnecessary weight has been removed. Roll bar with side bracing was added for safety and chassis stiffening. Porterfield brake pads on front and rear. It has Koni shocks front and rear and adjustable sway bar in front.Torsion bars in front are stiffer as are rear springs. There is a racing seat on the driver's side and racing harnesses on both sides for driver ed courses. This car only has three events since it was built and the engine and trans are fresh. Two sets of wheels with race tires are included. This car is great starter car for POC or PCA and is legal for VARA and HSR events if you add a fuel cell and fire system. Price $8,000.
