John Rickard’s 1979 RUF Turbo. John obtained this car with 43k original miles and a blown up motor from one of his many customers. John’s shop, The Black Forest, in San Diego has freshly rebuilt the 3.4L BTR twin-plug motor, with intercooler, fuel enrichment system, and adjustable boost (in cab), and taken care of some minor cosmetic issues. The car is triple black, has leather sport seats, a RUF 5 speed with limited slip, RUF air dam, boxed rockers, rear quarter panel vents, proper RUF badges, and much more. This is a 450hp California smog legal street rocket with 9” and 10” 3-piece chrome alloys, Bilstein sport shocks, factory A/C, adjustable front sway bar, over sized torsion bars, and a 500 watt CD/Stereo.
